I am a successful web designer and I earn more than enough money doing that alone but I took the challenge of data entry programs to help out my friends and to help out the people who subscribe to my news letter.

There has been much debate weather data entry programs really work or if they are bs.

The Challenge
Earn money doing data entry without a website.

Month 1
I started with the classic typing at home data entry programs. I had the audio tapes sent to me to type out. I did them for one month and yeah it made some money. I earned $97.68 and I typed out 3 tapes. It took about 4 hours I only did about 1 hour a week since I was really busy with my other work.

Month 2
I moved on, decided to try typing out the reports. I found it hard to type the bigger words and read all the different types of hand writing. Aside from that it seemed pretty strait forward. I earned $111.45 I only typed 4 reports as I am very busy.

Month 3
I took on the affiliate marketing approach. The programs I signed up for had great instructions on how to do this successfully. I followed the instructions to a T and I earned 128.34 in one month. I only worked about an hour all month to generate this.

Month 4
I continued with the affiliate marketing data entry. Since I barely spent time on it, I figured it was worth another go. I took the training provided to the next step. I started posting the ads onto forums and created a blog all about what I was offering. (I was promoting wholesale electronics). I generated $560.75 and again I only worked just over 1 hour that month.

Month 5
Again I continued with the affiliate marketing data entry program. This is where things became amazing. I continued with the ads. Posting on the forums, creating blogs etc. I added a you tube video which I made with my digital camera. It took all of 10 minutes to create. I simply stood in front of the camera and said wholesale electronics is a great place to buy tvs, dvd players, ps3, ipods etc. Check out electronics site and start saving. With that 2 minute video, forum posts, and my blog I earned $1204.06

Month 6
Still doing affiliate marketing data entry. After making over one thousand dollars in 10 minutes of work I again looked for more opportunities to get my ads out there. I created fliers on my computer about 1000 of them. I placed them on peoples cars in parking lots, I also created a space on hub pages and a page on Squidoo promoting the wholesale electronic website. I earned $1908.41 in one month and I only did 5 hours of work.

Month 7
Affiliate marketing data entry. With my blog, video, flyer's, Squidoo page, and hub page I I had nothing left to do. So I did nothing all month and I earned $1926.53.

I posted my success to the popular forum and received hundreds of congratulatory replies and got some feed back from others. Although this looks good a lot of the people from the forum claim to be earning $4000 or more. This doesn't seem out of the ordinary if you put in more time. I did the bare minimum to moderate work and earned half that.

In conclusion the challenge was a success. Earning money with data entry programs is absolutely possible. Use the suggestions I have provided and follow the instructions of the program you choose.

UPDATE:
I have recently stopped doing any work at all. It has been about a month and I earned $1500.00 in the month of December

I am still working doing the same stuff that I listed above and in February I earned over $3000.00 and so far this march I am at $2120.78
